Invisible Venue collaborates with artists to present art in public spaces, online and in the built environment. Founded by Christian L. Frock as a DIY independent curatorial enterprise and primarily active 2005 - 2015, Invisible Venue has presented the work of more than fifty artists, including web-based projects, site-specific commissions, published works, performances, interventions, and public events. Ephemera from various projects are collected by a number of public institutions, including the Nuestra Herencia Collection at Kansas City Museum, San Francisco Main Public Library Special Collections, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Research Library, University Visual Collections Permanent Art Collection at Indiana State University, and the University of Maine's Intermedia Program, Artists' Book Collection.
